Stargard/Greifenhagener Summer Party
We had a great time playing at the Stargard/Greifenhagener Summer Party on 15 Sept - as always, a really good time!
New CD "Harmony" released
We are thrilled to announce the release of tracks from our new CD "Harmony". This CD includes 11 tracks composed and recorded last year at KL Plant, Mühlenstr. in Berlin. The tracks can be downloaded from this website to the right.
Kombo Lombo - Guest in SecondRadio
The online radio station SecondRadio.de played a few new Kombo Lombo tracks in its program "Tamtam" on 1 March 2021. This program is organized in cooperation with PopSaxony e.V., which is an organization dedicated to promoting up-and-coming bands.
Green Valley Rock Festival - 20/21 July
The first edition of the Green Valley Rock festival was a great success, with about 500 persons participating. We were happy to be one of the 13 bands playing in this two-day open air event. Kombo Lombo plays S036!
Wow! Kombo Lombo played in the legendary location SO36 in Kreuzberg on 29 May. What a blast to play in these hollowed halls! Thanks to our friend Uwe we got some fantastic pictures of the event. Check out our Gallery on this website for more pics.
SPH Band Contest - on to the regional finals!
Thanks to our fans we placed 2nd in the Berlin finals! Fantastic! It was a great party at Privatclub in Kreuzberg, with 5 other bands and about 200 in the audience. Kombo Lombo therefore advances to the Regional Finals, which will take place on 6 October (8pm) in the Maschinenhaus in the Kulturbrauerei . Come on out to hear some great music from some of the finest new bands, and support your favorite Berlin band!
2 June 2017 - 10th anniversary celebration
We had a great party for our 10th anniversary with you, at the Partykeller in März Restaurant, Greifenhagener Str. 17 (corner with Stargarder Str.). About 50 people came to celebrate 10 years of Kombo Lombo. Looking forward to the next 10 years - rock on Kombo Lombo!
SPH Band Contest 30 June 2017 - the next round
With a little help from our fans we were the winners of the first round of the SPH Band Contest - Berlin preliminaries! About 35 of our fans showed up to exercise their votes, and Kombo Lombo was the clear winner both in the popular vote and the jury's vote. Come and support your favorite band at the "city finals". The public's opinion counts for 50% of the final vote, the jury counts for 50%. Tickets cost €8 and the doors open at 5:30pm at Privatclub, Skalitzer Str. 85-86, Berlin.
Gig 5 January @ Rickenbackers - Videos galore!
To help ring in the new year Kombo Lombo played on 5 January 2017 at Rickenbackers Music Inn in Berlin. Rickenbackers is a fine Irish Pub with live music every night. A number of videos were made by internationally renown filmmaker Rick Minnich and his students Tom Gimlette, Katarzyna Rogalksa, Eléonor Silva, Flavio Verde, Montana Wolff von Selzam. Kombo Lombo rocks Köpenick!
With the help of Indian Summer weather Kombo Lombo helped celebrate an important "round birthday" on 24 September in Köpenick, Berlin. Three sets kept us busy and the public on their feet (especially the midnight set). Alles gute Birgit!

Successful Kombo Lombo CD release party
Kombo Lombo would like to thank all of our fans who showed up at the CD release party on Friday 8 July. We played songs from our new CD "Love and Desperation" as well as from our first CD "Set me Free".
The four Kombo Lombo gentlemen were joined by Christina Roterberg, star classical soprano, and Anges Verano, who played keyboard and sang on many of the songs on "Love and Desperation".
The evening was started out with a set by special guest Aster Moos.
